Our Sixteenth annual golf classic will be held August 30, 2011 at Forest Park Golf Club. It is located at 6141 Lagoon Drive in St. Louis, MO 63112. As in past years the proceeds will benefit Wonderland Camp.

Wonderland Camp is a summer camp program for physically and mentally challenged children and adults. Where they can enjoy the exhilaration of outdoor living and play.

The camp consists of 35 acres specially developed for camping with an additional 200 acres of peaceful natural woodlands for hiking and enjoyment of the wonders of nature. The camp is nestled among the trees adjoining 400 feet of shoreline on the Lake of the Ozarks.

The Missouri Jaycee’s adopted Wonderland Camp as their statewide project. The Missouri National guard has provided many projects for the camp and volunteers from both organizations support the camps daily operation.

Campers of all ages are welcome. We have specialized programs planned for the campers each week challenging all physically and mentally handicapped campers.

The mission of Wonderland Camp is to provide a fun, educational camp experience for the physically and mentally challenged individual, to offer a respite from daily care giving for the family members and healthcare workers and to provide and nurture a personal development experience for volunteers and staff.

Every year the tournament has been an overwhelming success, creating a lot of fun for everyone and raising money to continue the great work at Wonderland Camp. We are seeking donations in the form of cash, gift certificates and merchandise, which will be used for a silent auction and raffle prizes. Additionally, you can become a Corporate, Gold or other level hole sponsor. A professionally made sign placed at the tee box of each hole sponsored, acknowledges the hole sponsor.

Following the tournament, Hotshots hosts the golfers and sponsors to a dinner buffet at the Fenton location. Dinner, awards, raffles and a silent auction finish out the evening.

Join us in creating another successful tournament and help raise money for the programs and children who benefit from Wonderland Camp. Last year Hotshots raised over $25,000 which was used to finance a new library facility, and this year’ proceeds will go towards opening a splash park in the facility.
